AO Show
Southern Vietnam · January – December
Saigon Opera House's gravity-defying bamboo circus: acrobatics, live music, and a story of Vietnamese village life.

About this event
The show
AO Show blends acrobatics, bamboo choreography, and live percussion into a story about Vietnamese village life. It's staged at the Saigon Opera House in central HCMC — a stunning venue that is itself worth seeing.
What to expect
Around 60 minutes of non-verbal performance, so language is never a barrier. Bamboo poles become houses, boats, and rice fields as performers climb, balance, and fly. Great for all ages and a strong first-night activity.
Practical tips
Book tickets online in advance — evening shows sell out. Dress smart-casual for the opera house, arrive 20 minutes early, and skip photography during the performance. Nearby Nguyen Hue walking street is a good spot for dinner after.
